Trade exchanges with the countries of  EU make up 64,6 % of entire trade volume. According to the foreign trade report published on Wednesday by Statistics Institute, INSTAT, in November 2016, exports to EU countries constitute 73,4 % of exports overall and imports from EU countries make up 60,5 % of imports overall.

The main trade partners are: Italy (36,4 %), China (7,5 %), Greece (6,6 %) and Turkey (6,3 %).

In November 2016, the countries with which Albania has seen the biggest increase in exports compared to November 2015 are: Italy with (12,7 %), Kosovo with (10,1 %) and China with (137,8 %). Whereas the countries with which exports have seen the biggest drop are: Hungary with (-39,7 %), Netherlands with (-21,9 %) and Iraq with (-25,7 %).

According to INSTAT, in November 2016, the countries with which Albania has seen the biggest increase of imports compared to November 2015 are: Turkey with (2,5 %), Greece with (12,7 %) and Germany with (0,6 %). Whereas the countries with which imports have suffered the biggest drop are: Italy with (-9,5 %), China with (-14,1 %) and Serbia with(-35,1 %)./ata.gov.al
